We believe that:
The Bible was uniquely, verbally & fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, and that it was written without error (inerrant) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme & final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
True Christians are in doctrinal agreement. We allow freedom of conviction on doctrinal matters, provided that interpretation is based upon the Bible alone, and that such interpretation is not a hindrance to ministry.
There is one true God, eternally existing in the Trinity, each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity.
Jesus Christ is God, the Living Word who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit & His virgin birth.
He lived a sinless life & voluntarily atoned for the sins of men by dying on the cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and accomplishing salvation for mankind. Jesus rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified.
He ascended bodily into heaven and became the only mediator between God & man. Man was created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God, and was alienated from his creator. The fall of man brought divine condemnation.
Man’s nature is corrupted, thus he cannot please God. Every man needs regeneration & renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Man’s salvation is wholly a work of God’s grace. God imputes His righteousness to those who believe in Christ alone for their salvation, and justifies them in His sight.
Those who are saved & born again have assurance of salvation produced by the witness of the Holy Spirit through the testimony of God in His written word.
The Holy Spirit reveals & glorifies Christ & applies the saving work of Christ to men. He convicts & draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to them, & continually indwells them. The believer appropriates His fullness, power & control by faith.
Since believers live in the power of the Holy Spirit, they will not fulfill the lust of the flesh but bear fruit to the glory of God.
Christ in the Head of the Church, His body, composed of all men, living & dead, who have been joined to Him by saving faith.
God’s people must assemble regularly for worship, for participation in ordinances, and for mutual encouragement & edification through Scriptures.
At physical death, the believer immediately enters into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord & awaits resurrection of his body to everlasting glory & blessing.
At physical death, the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord & awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment & condemnation.
Jesus Christ will come again to the earth personally, visibly & bodily to consumate the eternal plan of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the gospel throughout the world and to disciple every nation. To fulfil the Great Commission we must subordinate all worldly and personal ambitions to a total commitment to Christ.
